Lisa Abel loves Broward County, and over the past 20 years, she has enjoyed giving back to her community in many ways. As a volunteer at her daughter's schools, she was able to raise funds for projects and events that provided learning and fun for the students. 'I found great satisfaction in knowing that my hard work made these great experiences possible for every student.' One of Lisa's proudest moments was being nominated for Broward County Schools Volunteer of the Year when her daughter, Emily, was in elementary school. 'It was an absolute honor to be recognized, and I feel that I gained so much personally. I got back more than I gave. The children are amazing." Her career as an Agent with New York Life is in keeping with her caring nature. 'I believe in educating people about insurance and planning for the future so that they can make informed decisions tailored to their individual goals.' She says that it is a great feeling to know that a family is protected, that a person is on track for their retirement, or has planned for long-term care. 'I love to deliver peace of mind to my clients when I deliver their policy.'
Stan Bostic, a father of seven children, was born in Virginia before eventually moving to Massachusetts where he completed high school and graduated college with a Bachelors of Science in Marine and Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. He also has a Masters in Business Administration from the New York Institute of Technology. Stan, who enjoyed a short baseball career after college and played semi-professional baseball, moved to Florida in 1989. He currently serves as the Director of Corporate Partners and VIP Program for the Rick Case Automotive Group team. As part of his current responsibilities with the Rick Case Automotive Group, he spends time giving back to the community, providing assistance to children and families facing tribulation. This is a good match, as Stan has always been civic minded and has a love for children. Stan devotes a commendable amount of time helping children by assisting them in their academic and scholastic development. Either back on the baseball diamond serving as a coach/umpire for little leaguers or by lending his time and knowledge to such charitable organizations as All Purpose Life Skills, Boys and Girls Club, Prestige Club, and Russell Life Skills. As Stan says, “anywhere there are children and families in distress that need those things only a good heart can give."
